There are a few differences between the new HTML5 UI (user interface) and the legacy UI.
This section aims to help you navigate the new and improved UI.
Menu Bar
- Breadcrumbs: This part of the UI shows you your current location. In this case, we are in the Jobs section of the Example Client Workspace. Clicking the BRANDGUARDIAN® / one2edit™ logo will open the main sidebar navigation menu, and clicking the Client Workspace name will open the Select Client Workspace dialog.
- Search: This opens the search dialog.
- User Menu: This is where you can update your preferences (e.g. theme) and your user details (e.g. password). You also log out from your session via this menu.
- Notifications: Any notifications for your user (e.g. completed exports, jobs started) will be shown here. A red badge is displayed to inform you of any unread notifications.
Navigation Menu
Clicking the BRANDGUARDIAN® / one2edit™ logo will open the Navigation Menu.
From here, you can navigate to other areas to which you have access, open the Asset Browser, access the Settings sub-menu, etc.
Options Menus (Context Menus)
The 3-dot "kebab" menus beside each item can be clicked to open its Options Menu.
From here, you can open the item's Properties, export a PDF of the item, check out a project, etc.
Action Menus
Action Menus appear in the bottom-right corner of a section.
- Plus Symbol: Click on the Plus symbol to create a new item in the section. For example, if it is a section of folders, clicking the Plus will create a new folder within the selected folder (or a root folder, if no folder is already selected).
- 3-dots "Kebab": If there are multiple options within the Action Menu, the button will have a 3-dot "kebab" menu.
If you have selected multiple items, the Action Menu will display the number of selected items in the top-right corner of the button.
The number of menu options will expand to allow bulk actions to be performed, such as copying or deleting all selected items at once.
