This section describes the Option Menu for Projects.
Open this menu by clicking on the kebab menu (3 dots) beside the Project.
NOTE: This section offers high-level descriptions. For more in-depth explanations, please refer to the appropriate parts of the manual.
When the Project has Version Documents
When a Project has Version Documents, the Option Menu contains the following options.
- Open Document: Open the document in the Master-Document Editor (MDE).
- Create Version: Create a Version Document in the Project.
- Translation > Export Content Group for Translation: Export the text segments from Translation Content Groups as .o2et files.
- Translation > Import Translations: Import translated .o2et files to Translation Content Groups in this Project.
- Properties: Open the Project Details of the Project.
- Check Out Document: Check the document out of the one2edit™ system for offline editing.
- Reveal in Asset Browser: Reveal the Document in the Asset Browser.
- Lock Versions: Prevent users from editing the version documents. If clicked, an Unlock Versions option then appears.
- Export Document: Open the Export Document dialog for the document.
- Download LowRes PDF: Open the Export PDF dialog for the document.
- Duplicate: Duplicate the Project.
- Copy: Copy the Project.
- Cut: Cut the Project.
- Delete: Delete the Project.
NOTE: Workflows cannot be assigned to Master Documents if the Project already has Version Documents. And Version Documents cannot be created in a Project where the Master Document has a Workflow assigned to it.
When the Project has no Version Documents
When a Project has no Version Documents, the Option Menu contains these two extra options.
- Workflow > Assign Workflow from Template: Assign a chosen Workflow Template to the Master Document. If you do this, you cannot create Version Documents for this Project.
- Workflow > Assign Empty Workflow: Assign a blank Workflow to the Master Document. If you do this, you cannot create Version Documents for this Project.
NOTE: Workflows cannot be assigned to Master Documents if the Project already has Version Documents. And Version Documents cannot be created in a Project where the Master Document has a Workflow assigned to it.
