Document text is segmented into discrete units for translation. These units are then automatically matched with units in a database to automate much of the translation process.
This segmentation is initially done using hard returns, column breaks, and page breaks, so it is important to use line breaks correctly. Using hard returns (paragraph characters) instead of line breaks will split a single headline or sentence into multiple translation units.
NOTE: Text segmentation does not affect the InDesign stories. The text flow of the document will stay intact throughout the editing and translation process.
