A one2edit™ Language Set is a local Translation Memory (TM) database.
When you create a new Language Set, it starts off empty. The Commit Translations action that you can add to your Workflows will save all translation units from a Job to the TM. This will allow you to build up your TM organically over time.
In this example, we will create a new Language Set and define the languages within it.
NOTE: Keep in mind that your Language Set must also contain the Source Language, not just the Target Languages.
Create a 'New Language Set'
- Select the folder in which you want to create this new Language Set.
- Click the + (plus) button to create a new Language Set in this folder.
- Give the new Language Set a name.
- Click Apply to create the new Language Set
NOTE: Clicking Apply will not close the New Language Set/Language Set Details dialog. This is useful because you are now going to assign languages to your Language Set via the Languages tab.
Assign Languages to the Language Set
- Select the Languages tab.
- If required, filter the list of languages by typing into the filter field.
- Drag and drop languages to the language list.
- Click Save when all languages have been assigned to the Language Set.
