This sets the default behavior regarding the location of font files used in a document.
Use Document Fonts
The fonts within a document can be sourced from two locations:
- from a centrally-uploaded font package
- from the Document fonts sub-folder in the InDesign package
Choose an option for the document fonts from the drop-down menu:
- Always use client font packages: Use the font packages that have been uploaded to the Client Workspace via Settings > Font Packages.
- Allow custom document settings: Permit each project to choose its own font source. The default will be those font packages uploaded to the Client Workspace via Settings > Font Packages, but this can be altered as required on a per-project basis.
- Use Document Fonts folder: Automatically select the Document fonts sub-folder that is located in the same folder as the INDD file. This folder will be present if you have uploaded an Adobe® InDesign® package to one2edit™.
Project Details > Fonts
When the Allow Custom Document Settings or Use Document Fonts Folder options are selected, then you can select options from this drop-down menu under the Fonts tab of the Project Details dialog.
- Use all font packages: Use the font packages that have been uploaded to the Client Workspace via Settings > Font Packages.
- Choose font package: Select a specific font package that has been uploaded to the Client Workspace.
- Choose font folder: Select a folder containing font files on a one2edit™ Asset Project.
Multiple options can be combined here by using the + (plus) button on the right side of the dialog, and removed by clicking the trashcan button.
NOTE: If Always Use Client Font Packages is chosen under your Client Workspace Settings, this drop-down menu is not displayed.
