Workflow Actions > Commit Translations (one2edit TM)

Translations from your documents can be stored in the Translation Memory (TM) of your one2edit™ Language Set through the use of the Commit Translations workflow action.

Because every job segment will be pushed to the TM in its current state, this action is typically only added to the Completion field of the workflow, ensuring that all steps are 100% complete before anything is committed.

NOTE: The one2edit project structure of a source-language document with target-language versions enables the creation of bilingual pairs. If you are translating a source-language/master document directly, then you will not be able to commit translations to the TM.

Add Commit Translations Action

Drag and drop the Email Notification action into the desired field.

NOTE: You can double-click to open the Action Editor dialog, but there are no options to change for this action.

NOTE: The Workflow Actions dialog is opened by double-clicking on any Drop actions here field in a Workflow.

Commit Translations (one2edit TM)

The Action Editor dialog contains a description of what this action does, but there are no options to configure.

NOTE: When the Commit Translations action is executed in the workflow, it will write all source and target segments into the permanent translation memory of your Language Set. Therefore, if the Commit Translations action is executed before the document has been fully translated and approved, you may end up with incorrect translations in your TM.

For this reason, the Commit Translations action should only ever be called from the Completion field of the workflow.
