When a document is linked to a project in a one2edit™ system, a symbolic link (symlink) is created to the Document fonts subfolder (if one exists).
A symlink may not contain certain characters (e.g. characters with umlauts, accents, etc.). Therefore, if the path to the Document fonts folder contains such characters, the creation of the symlink will fail. This will, in turn, throw an error: symlink(): Invalid argument
For simplicity, when creating any folder or filename on the asset server, it is safest to use the character ranges: a-z, A-Z, 0-9, whitespace, and underscore.

Error displayed in Notifications
This shows the error, as seen in the user's notifications.
The error appears when attempting to link an InDesign document as a project in one2edit™.
Folder contains umlauts
- The above example shows files located on a RemoteFS Asset Project (i.e. not a one2editFS Asset Project).
- The folder name contains characters with accents (i.e. the folder name is: Pröjéct Pâth ).
- The folder has a subfolder named: Document fonts.
When I try to link the INDD file as a project, I will get an error.
To resolve this, remove the accented characters from the folder name.
NOTE: Changing the name of the folder will also change the path to all items within that folder.
