Uploading InDesign Preflight Profiles

InDesign Preflight Profiles are used to check a document for issues (e.g. missing fonts, overset text, color profiles, etc.), typically before that document is exported as a PDF.

An InDesign Preflight Profile is an .idpp file that has been configured and exported from Adobe® InDesign®. This file is then uploaded to your one2edit™ Client Workspace to be used when checking documents for issues.

NOTE: Multiple InDesign Preflight Profiles can be uploaded to cater to various requirements.

NOTE: There is a simple preflight profile included with one2edit™, but it is not listed in the InDesign Preflight Profiles dialog.

Upload an InDesign Preflight Profile

Click the + (plus) action button in the bottom left of the InDesign Preflight Profiles dialog (accessed via Settings > InDesign Preflight Profiles).

A file-explorer window will open, allowing you to choose the appropriate .idpp file from your local hard drive.

The uploaded preflight profile will now be visible, and will be available when performing preflight checks on documents in your one2edit™ Client Workspace.

NOTE: Please ensure that the uploaded filenames are meaningful, as it is not possible to query or edit the uploaded preflight profiles.
