All of your one2edit™ projects are organized in folders, and you should build a folder structure that best suits your needs.
This lesson demonstrates how to create folders and subfolders.
NOTE: The folder structure for your one2edit Projects is not the same as the folder structure for your assets (i.e. files).
First time logging into one2edit™
The first time that you log into one2edit™ as an administrator, you will start in the Projects area containing a single folder named Documents.
Here you can create top-level folders and subfolders to contain projects created around InDesign files.
NOTE: Folders are displayed on the left, and folder content is displayed on the right.
Create a new top-level folder
- Ensure that no folder is selected.
- Click the + (plus) action button to add a new folder.
- Name the new folder.
- Click Save.
NOTE: If you have a folder selected, the new folder will be created as a sub-folder instead.
You have created a top-level folder.
Create a new subfolder
- Select the folder that will be the parent folder.
- Click the + (plus) action button to add a new subfolder.
- Name the new subfolder.
- Click Save.
- Click the triangle next to the parent folder to expand the tree.
- Your new subfolder is shown.
