De-select a Folder

If you wish to create a top-level folder, you must first de-select all other folders.

De-selecting an item in one2edit™ is done the same way as de-selecting any item in your OS: holding the Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (macOS) key when clicking the selected item.

NOTE: Clicking unselected items while holding down the Ctrl/Cmd modifier key will select multiple items. You can view the Ctrl/Cmd modifier as a toggle.

Selecting Folders

  1. Clicking a folder selects it. When a folder is selected, it is highlighted.
  2. The contents of the selected folder are shown to the right.

De-selecting Folders

  1. Click the selected folder while holding down the Ctrl key (Windows) or the Cmd key (macOS). The highlight will disappear as the folder is de-selected.
  2. The words No folder selected will appear to the right of the folder list.

NOTE: If you have a folder selected and click an unselected folder while holding down the Ctrl/Cmd modifier key, you will select both folders.
